BRIDAL SUITE

The Bride will have use of a very large Bridal Suite with several mirrors, a long make-up bar with three salon chairs, individual mirrors, and overhead make-up lighting, as well as a large restroom with double sinks and more mirrors. This suite is located behind the back balcony.

RESTROOMS

The main floor restrooms are quite spacious, modern and elegant.  Each is handicapped accessible and will be fully stocked and maintained throughout your event.

TABLES & CHAIRS

Your rental of The Watson Building includes ample white folding chairs, up to 40 – 5′ round tables (which seat 6-8 guests each), and three 8′ long buffet tables with every building rental. Linens may be provided by your caterer, or we have a preferred vendor list of local rental companies that rent linens, decorations, or additional tables and chairs. With our large open-air space, we can seat up to 300 people comfortably!

BALCONIES

Overlooking the main floor are two lovely balconies (one in front and one in the back) and two staircases with the original wrought iron railings. These balconies provide a great view of the main floor. The front balcony will hold six tables which seat 48 guests. The rear balcony will hold four tables. There is a large bridal suite behind the rear balcony with a large restroom and dressing area.

CATERING

We have an “open” catering policy, which means that you can choose the caterer of your choice or do it yourself!  You are also free to use any florist, decorator, coordinator or any other vendor that you please.  We can make suggestions for all types of vendors who can provide service to meet every desire and every budget.

CONCIERGE SERVICE

Along with all of the above, a concierge service is provided to ensure that your event runs smoothly throughout the entire day and evening.  We strive to see that your most special day is perfect!

SETUP

If you would like to use The Watson Building the day before your event to set-up, rehearse or decorate, there is a charge of $300 for a minimum of two hours. Then, for additional hours beyond the two hours, there is a charge of $100 per hour. We do not rent this time until approximately 1 month before your wedding day.

KITCHEN

Your use of the large, industrial, catering kitchen is also included in the rental fee. Fitted with a stove, oven, warming oven, two commercial size refrigerators, large freezer as well as lots of stainless steel counter tops and triple sinks, we think any party is more than equipped. In addition, almost every local caterer is extremely familiar with this kitchen and definitely knows the ropes.

ALCOHOL

You may provide the liquor, wine and/or beer for your guests yourself through an open bar so long as it is served by a TABC certified server that you provide.  You may also provide alcohol to your guests  through a cash bar run by a licensed vendor.  Alcohol can only be served from the bar or other approved areas.  We do not allow guests to bring in their own alcohol.

CLEANUP

All we ask is that you remove any leftover food and drink, pick up any major spills or messes, wipe down the kitchen equipment, remove all trash when you are through, and leave the kitchen in the manner in which it is found.  Be sure to take all your personal items before locking down the building.
